Janelle, 34 raised in Richmond, VA, is owner/operator of All Things Janelle Marie.  Through motherhood, she came to the conclusion that she MUST show up as her most authentic self every day for her son. This meant putting her energy into the things SHE enjoys, no matter how various and random they may be. Taking her 15+ years of work experience, eldest daughter experience, and determination to see things through she left her job of 8 years behind and birthed All Things Janelle Marie.

Her entrepreneurship journey began in 2017 when she launched Events By Janelle Marie, offering wedding planning and design services. Through word of mouth alone she was able to maintain a consistent presence on the Richmond wedding scene. To date Events By Janelle Marie has full coordination and design credits for dozens of events across Virginia and Maryland accommodating groups of more than 250 people.  

As a true Nell of all trades*, in 2020 she decided to expand her freelance entrepreneurial lifestyle and venture into what she calls personal executive assisting.  With the larger focus on strengthening consumer confidence in the small Black business, the goal is to circulate the Black dollar and help build a small business community that we can rely on. Her services provide not only administrative support, but strategic planning, contract drafting & negotiation, policy and procedure implementation and much more, all while prioritizing the person behind the brand. Essentially, the service provides the support and resources to fill the gaps small business owners tend to have due to wearing ALL of the hats. Thus supporting US.
Her eye is always on the end goal.

Currently she is offering wedding planning & coordination, and executive assistant services aimed at providing holistic administrative and operations support to small minority owned businesses. She plans to continue to follow her heart to lend her talents where she sees fit to help close the gap on the needs of individuals and business owners in our communities.
